Often boring are tales much told
lousily, of Jurassic creatures so old.
dead, forgotten are they;
eventually they decayed
now let rest of the tale stay untold

Okay... so now first thing. Limericks are SO not me. I do not write limericks. And there is little chance I would start liking them (like I did a bit with Haiku's). Thus I tried to be open but I think the Jurassic theme is again hidden 
But I tried writing another one but was unable to do so. Thus I don't like writing limericks. I seriously hope that some more likable challenge comes next time 
. While it is nothing to be proud of, I don't like to leave my comfort zone. I do experiment with poetry but frankly, the concept of limericks is not just me. I like reading them, but writing them never once appealed to me. Anyways, lets hope this is fine enough for 
's "scratch that" contest with theme and form as "Jurassic, Acrostic Limerick".Comments30

Limericks are freedom, dear sir,
For instead of showing what's in there,
You take moment's mind
And dump what's inside
Without bother for quality or care.
What I miss here really is a lightness that comes with a limerick. It's something designed to be thrown together on the fly without a care in the world.
'Cause I love the beginnings of words
Less no rhythm, and the rhyme blindly bold.
And no bad it would be,
But you fossiled the key!
Humour, sir! Laugh at dinos of old!
