Haloby *PuzzledHeartBoxCommentsIt's about sadness, a man/woman unable to be moved, silent but with such profound depths that are yet unexplored.
I plea for them to lay bare their depths and shed their tears tonight. I had this weird idea of using the moon and the way it can move the water as it creates it's tides. The halo in the sky would be the moon As it's silent unmoving, the water will reflect it identically without showing us who or what he/she really is. So if he/she'd shed the tears the water surface would move.. a bit silly perhaps, but hey xd |
The non-italic stanza's are like a chorus and while the repetition didn't register that much to me, I did like the expressions used. Then the Italics play with words, giving an eerie touch to the seemingly sad work. The chorus feels sad and the italics feel eerie in a nice way. as in I enjoyed the work.
So, sadly, I was unable to grasp the work but I did enjoy the read. Short and touching in a strange fashion.
