Feature # 11

Hello This feature is making its debut after a long time. I hope I am able to maintain this every week or at least every Month!

For a little introduction:
This feature takes 3 works each from works that I think and Impressive Literary Pieces and works that I consider exceptional literary pieces. This is all my personal opinion so of course one may not see what I do. However this is my feature so back off Just kidding _{No I am actually serious}

This work has a feel to it that I cannot grasp. It is vague in a way, however, I love the expressions that are honest and well thought of. Yes, it is ambiguous to me but I still enjoy it!

  QuestionsI would love to tell you
but my heart won't let it out
Just what I am going through
and what this pain's about
I just can't seem to get past
How lonely inside I feel
How I feel rejected
How it makes me want to hide
Of all the things I've been through
rejection still stings so much
and all that I am longing for
Is your warm and loving touch
But something keeps getting in the way
Something I've done wrong today
And I know that you will always say
I'm doing something the wrong way
At least it seems to be clear
The way I want to hold you near
but that's not good enough I fear
do my words fall upon your ear?
Do you hear the pain I feel
Do you see that my hurt is real?
Does it matter? will I heal
Are you willing to seal this deal
What are you intentions?
Is it that you cannot see?
How the things you say
can be harmful to me?
Please understand
it's not always your fault
I am broken inside
and I've told you so
But instead of hurt I need to heal
Can you help my heart
or will it painfully peel? by

This is an honest piece of literature from my dear friend (who has been off dA for long ) which rhymes beautifully and has this natural flow to an honest work that expresses pain and sorrow. I do feel that it requires punctuation but that is me being picky!

Nobody knows... and never will. The title itself has such a grasp on me that I have to love it. This too is an expression of a person. It is honest, like an out pour and at places might seem inconsistent. The concept is grasping as it nears the end (for me) and since I love endings, well I like it

From Exceptional Literature

This work is like a drug - I love how it reads, how it slips off the tongue and how well crafted it is in both theme and execution. I just love literature like this and it is a rare piece.

The Most Beautiful SmileThe most beautiful smile I ever did see,
was not for a second directed at me.
He stood with praise and a gaze of thanks,
for everyone there among the ranks.
A hardwood casket came into view,
he waved a hand and bid adieu.
What a good act from a charitable boy,
moments like that fill my heart with joy.
He turned and smiled. I shed a tear
for the innocent child holding no fear.
He pointed and told me, 'That's my dad'
What an ugly week this boy must've had.
Acknowledging my pity, he took my hand,
"Don't cry for him lady, he knows where he stands."
Whispering with the wind, he looked at the sea,
"He'll forever be a hero to me."
The most beautiful smile I ever did see,
Sparked a new view of life within me. by

The title is amazing, but the two lines that follow just fill me with both emotions. It makes me say "its so beautiful (and sad) it makes you want to cry". Simple however very well written.

a sad little girl and her tea.Once there was a sad little girl. She had a pet bunny, but one day he died, but she continued to love him no less. They still had tea parties, and had tasty crumpets. The schoolkids teased the little girl, saying she was strange, and needed to leave the bunny. After that, the little girl stopped showing up at school, and nobody knew where she was. A few days later, her mum found her, off in a garden. She was slouched at her table, across from her bunny. The little girl had her tea set out, and her crumpets made. Her mum tried calling for her sad little girl, but with no response. She ran frantically to her little girl, but when she held her sad little girl, she was cold, and lifeless, yet she had a brilliant smile on her face. Somehow, her mum managed to smile. Her sad little girl, had become her happy little angel. by

A work that I also featured earlier in another post - It is just amazing. I love how it is executed. It is so simply stated, and without a tone that many people (myself included) would take however with the last line it ends beautifully. Just amazing.

Finally, give some love to the feature by the which trust me, will be featured time and again in my journals due to her amazing writing. The authors she has brought up are amazing so do check them out!
