Hello everyone who comes upon my profile. I hope you all are doing well! I am fine myself. I have been delayed over the feature due to the reason I told in my last Journal. But I guess I should lessen my own burden. So here are the features of the near past. I will give the features from before after I get back to university.

Birthday Features

First coming up is :iconslowlysailing: slowlysailing with her birthday on 3rd January... Happy birthday! I hope you are doing well :) I haven't heard from her but no worries, I hope she is donig well! Sailing is a writer in essence. She writes in a lot of detail and imagery so that her prose is also like poetry; wonderful expressions and depth.

Now onto her works:

:thumb330191692:
A work subtle in its execution and has quite a deep meaning. It has multiple interpretations and quite a grasping story.
:thumb330034282:
another wonderful play of words that gives a wonderful massage. I have always loved the way she explains scenario's and this is a really good work.
:thumb330032547:
Now this is a work that I didn't fully get. I enjoyed reading it though and have put it forward, hoping that you are able to understand it well!

Now onwards to the next feature. It is :iconviride: Viride whose birthday was on 4th January! Congrats! I mean Happy birthday! I hope the day went really good for you :) Viride is mainly a traditional artist who draws/sketches and all. Her works are beautiful and well made with a lot of depth in them at times.

A long way to heaven by Viride
An amazing work that is part of a series of canvas's. I love how the imagery in her mind has been so wonderfully put on canvas for other people to appreciate!
The sunset inside by Viride
Another work that is simple but so well executed. I love how it only contains a few basic colors and the rest is merged with them.
The candle- tree by Viride
Now what I said about depth... this has such an imaginative imagery. I feel that she had an idea in mind and she planted it on paper. I have tried doing it but the results are no where near this.

Now onwards... we have :iconvegetabelle: Vegetabelle with her birthday on January 5th. Happy birthday! Her premium also ends after two weeks so if you can critique a work of hers, nows the time! She mainly writes with a new trend towards visual art as well. I will feature literature here.

The Door Locks Behind YouI would walk a mile
If I could see you for ten minutes,
But you won't take a step outside
To talk to me for twenty?
I know it's hard to go back
When the door locks behind you,
But is it so hard
To do something impulsive?
Sometimes I can read your mind,
And it feels like we're in sync,
But other times I feel like
We're always on repeat,
But we never make it
Past the first verse.
Will I ever be good enough?
I wish I could stay upset with you
Long enough for you to
Ask what's wrong,
But that is easier said than done
When I love you like I do.
See, there you go again
Making me laugh,
And you make all my problems
Seem so conquerable.
So why can't you stay
And erase them?

A work which, like the title is quite wonderful to read. Sweet and has a lot of emotions! Wonderful work!
Rib CageThere's a cage in my chest made of bones,
And it's keeping my heart locked in place.
My mistakes slowly welded it closed
So I wouldn't throw my love away.
Are there ways to slip under those bars?
Will the past be too hard to escape?
I'm attracted by all that you are,
Not the flattering words you could say.
There's attachment I know that you felt,
But I claimed not to reciprocate.
Now, the truth is, you made my heart melt.
I just hope that it isn't too late.
There's a rush that I feel in my head
Every time I am caught in your stare.
Though, I wish you could hold me instead,
I'll be happy if you're always there.
I don't know how to make you believe
That I'm still on the end of the line.
If I just got my heart on my sleeve,
Then I know that I could make you mine.

Ribcage... the title itself gives out various posibilities for the reader to ponder on and the main theme in the work is quite interesting. Perhaps some room for improvement but otherwise lovely!
Lens by Vegetabelle
Ah lens. This is perhaps one of the works that "accquainted" us perhaps. A likeable work in my opinion. Sad that I have to look at many of her present works but ah well.

The next person to be featured is... a name that is hard to pronounce :hmm: :iconkjerya-copenhapen:Kjerya-Copenhapen Okay... she changed her name and I was scared who it was :D Kally for short, is an animal lover, a personality trait that i myself have (I called a friend of mine Frickin' Murderer when he was hunting deer in Assasins Creed 3 although it was mainly for the pleasure of seeing him getting annoyed) and so I really appreciate her efforts.

:thumb342680834:
A work... which is sad if one feels that way about themselves. I hope it is not the case with Kally though. Her love for animals might have given stupid people to tease her, think her beleifs are blah blah... a touching work.
:thumb228362066:
Is her OC Klacier-CChan! That used to be her old name as well  I just love this character and hope that it makes out as a huge OC!
:thumb324481878:
Another of her OC... such a humble sweetie! I just love her... there is such innocence surrounding this character which is hard to describe!
:thumb336974640:
And these are her two... pigs :D wait that doesn't sound right :hmm: Ah! Two guinea pig brothers, Ginger (right) and Peanut (left)!  I just love how they seem to be sniffing around like guinea pig  detectives, out of their cage to conquor the world!

featured works and artists

Okay now from

Really good Literature

:thumb320162797: by :iconkill3for3me:
A fantastic work! The title is amazing and then when one reads onwards he usually finds the work relatable and in a wondorous way! I hope you will enjoy this!
:thumb320310899: by :iconitstrueistalkyou:
Now this work like the title was a bit frigid for me. It was a comparatively long read but atually worth it. You would probably enjoy this work as well!
Those in Glass Houses Will Always Fall ShortHis knees were practically built for bending,
his heart sounded of waves set to succumb
His lackluster soul required mending
from heroes who didn't exist, or come.
Time goes quicker if you've nowhere to run-
days blaze like falling stars, burning new years
So he'd use sleep to forget what he'd done
(rough living when waking's your biggest fear)
He grew so used to folding for his peers-
his bones turned to rubber, his mind grew dull
the change was seamless, he couldn't draw tears
his insides were deserts- deserted, cold.
Thank goodness his fragile heart did turn fake;
when you're made of glass, you are built to break.
by :iconintricately-ordinary:
This is a work... well most of the works featured all have amazing titles but due to my affiliation with a specific work named only "Glasshouse", this title means a lot to me. The work is also amazing. Read it and see!

Now works from

Exceptionally good works

Synchronized HeartsWe weep for wounds not yet born
We predict the patterns of storms long gone
Only after it's concrete, do we mourn
We live life expecting the next dawn
We ask for truth yet prefer the lies
We pity the foolish and decry the wise
We sketch blueprints for mountains we can't make
We dismay over bad and think all good is fake
To each his own, we've our selfish desires
The beauty of destruction is all too sought out
We dream for the stars, but settle for fires
We louden cacophonies to silence any doubt
So caught up in answering questions not asked yet,
We die with only one lasting regret-
We know not of who we've become.
Our mirrors are blinding, and sightless isn't fun.
by :iconintricately-ordinary:
Another work by Inricately ordinary... and there will be one most at least in the next feature as well. Again a wonderful work with classical rhyming and form.
by :iconsydnerella:
A classical work. One has to read it completely to be able to understand what it is about and for me it was a wonderful read (other than the UFO in the start).
Mythological nonsenseUp, up, up, and away we go
Where we're going, I don't know
The turtle runs fast and the hare runs slow
So up, up, up, and away I go
Up, up, up and away we go
The earth is above and the sky is below
Son, don't fly near the sun's warm glow
Or down, down, down to the sea you'll go
Up, up, up and away we fly
Over the sea and into the sky
You can't catch me even though you try
Up, up, up and away I fly
Up, up, up and away we go
The sun shines high and the moon shines low
Hades and Persephone dance below
Down, down, down, and deep they go
Up, up, up, so very high
I think I'll try my wings and fly
But if I do I'll surely die
Up, up, up, so very high
by :iconsoul-singing:
Now this is perhaps a questionable work. What is so amazing about it? It is the rhythm and feel that I got from it. IT reminded me of my childhood; the work was childish and perhaps stupid but it was quite balanced so that it appealed to me.

That is all for today. If you have any person you would nominate, do tell me and give their name a week or two before their birthday so I can add them to the next feature! See you later then!
